At CQ Quality Containers, we provide transparent and professional delivery services for shipping container orders across Australia.
We work with experienced external haulage and transport providers to arrange the safe transportation and unloading of shipping containers.

| Western Australia | A$1,299.00 for one container or cabin | 5–14 business days from dispatch |
| Each additional container or cabin, remote locations, or special access equipment | Extra haulage quoted and agreed in writing before dispatch | Confirmed with the haulage quote |
We do not deliver to offshore islands, and no quote will be offered for them. If an order is placed for an island address, we will contact you and either refund it in full or, if you prefer, deliver to an alternative eligible address.
Delivery is charged separately from the container price and is added at checkout.
The standard delivery rate covers one container or cabin delivered to one accessible site, and is set by the delivery state: A$299 for Queensland, A$499 for New South Wales, A$549 for the ACT, A$599 for Victoria, A$649 for South Australia, A$899 for Tasmania, A$1,099 for the Northern Territory and A$1,299 for Western Australia. Your delivery charge is shown clearly at checkout before you pay — there are no hidden fees. If your order includes more than one container or cabin, extra haulage may be needed (for example a second truck or trip). We confirm the exact extra amount with you in writing before dispatch; nothing extra is charged unless you agree, and if you don’t, you can cancel the order for a full refund. Remote locations or sites needing special access equipment may also cost extra, confirmed the same way.
2. Delivery Coverage
Our delivery service covers every Australian state and territory, including Tasmania:
- All states and territories (accessible sites) — standard rate by state for one container or cabin (A$299 QLD, A$499 NSW, A$549 ACT, A$599 VIC, A$649 SA, A$899 TAS, A$1,099 NT, A$1,299 WA).
- Additional containers or cabins, remote locations or special access equipment — extra haulage may apply; we confirm the exact amount in writing before dispatch, and you can cancel for a full refund if you don’t accept it.
We do not deliver to offshore islands under any service tier. If an order is placed for an island address, we will contact you and either refund it in full or, if you prefer, deliver to an alternative eligible address.
The state delivery rates and their delivery windows are fixed and apply automatically based on the delivery state entered at checkout.
3. Order Processing
Orders are normally processed within 1–3 business days, Monday to Friday, following successful payment confirmation and order verification.
Once your order has been processed and delivery arrangements are available, our logistics team or delivery partner will contact you to arrange the delivery.
Processing time is separate from the delivery transit period below.
4. Estimated Delivery Time
| Stage | Timeframe |
|---|---|
| Order processing | 1–3 business days |
| Standard delivery transit | 4–10 business days from dispatch (5–14 for TAS, NT and WA) |
| Remote interior delivery transit | 5–14 business days from dispatch |
| Total (QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, SA), order confirmation to delivery | ~5–13 business days |
| Total (TAS, NT, WA and remote sites), order confirmation to delivery | ~6–17 business days |
These are our estimated delivery timeframes. Delivery times can vary depending on:
- Product availability
- Delivery postcode
- Transport availability
- Delivery route
- Traffic and road conditions
- Weather
- Road restrictions
- Site accessibility
- Carrier availability
We will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed of significant delivery delays.
5. Delivery Arrangements
Shipping containers are delivered using external haulage companies, carriers and specialist transport providers.
The delivery method and vehicle used will depend on the container purchased, delivery location and site conditions.
Once a delivery date has been arranged, customers should ensure that the delivery site is ready and accessible.
Exact delivery times can be affected by traffic, road conditions, previous deliveries and unloading requirements, and are confirmed with you ahead of dispatch.
6. Site Access & Unloading Requirements
Shipping containers are large and heavy products that require appropriate delivery equipment and suitable site conditions.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery site is suitable and safely accessible before delivery.
Before ordering, customers should ensure that:
- The delivery route can safely accommodate the delivery vehicle.
- The entrance and access route are sufficiently wide and suitable for a heavy commercial vehicle.
- There is sufficient space for the delivery vehicle to enter, manoeuvre and safely unload.
- The unloading area has solid, stable and suitable ground.
- The intended container placement area is reasonably level and free from significant obstructions.
- There is sufficient clearance from buildings, walls, gates, trees and other structures.
- There are no low-hanging cables, branches or other overhead obstructions that could interfere with delivery.
- Vehicles, equipment and other obstructions are removed from the access and unloading areas.
Customers should consider the dimensions and weight of both the container and the delivery vehicle when preparing the site.
If you are unsure whether your site is suitable, please contact CQ Quality Containers before ordering.
7. Unsuccessful Delivery
Our delivery partners will make reasonable efforts to complete delivery safely.
However, the driver may be unable to complete a delivery if the site is inaccessible or considered unsafe, including where there is:
- Insufficient access
- Insufficient manoeuvring space
- Unsuitable or unstable ground
- Blocked access
- Insufficient clearance
- Unsafe road or site conditions
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery information
If delivery cannot be completed because the site is unsuitable or inaccessible, the delivery will be rearranged for a later date.
Where a failed delivery results from site conditions, access restrictions, or other circumstances the customer is responsible for, a fixed redelivery fee of $150.00 AUD applies. This covers the cost of a second delivery attempt and is charged before redelivery is scheduled.
8. Delivery Address
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address when placing an order.
If you need to change your delivery address after placing an order, please contact CQ Quality Containers as soon as possible.
A change of delivery address will be reassessed against our delivery rates in Section 1. If the new address is a remote location or requires special access equipment, any additional charge will be confirmed and agreed with you in writing before dispatch. If the new address is on an offshore island, we are unable to fulfil the order at that address and will contact you to arrange a refund or an alternative eligible address. If the address change requires a delivery already in progress to be rerouted within Australia, a fixed $150.00 rerouting fee applies in addition.
9. Delivery Inspection
Customers should inspect the container as soon as reasonably possible following delivery.
If you identify visible transport damage, discrepancies, defects or other issues relating to the delivery, please contact CQ Quality Containers within 24 hours of delivery.
Please provide photographs of the container and any reported issue where possible. Photographs may be requested to assist with our investigation.
10. Delivery Delays Beyond Our Reasonable Control
We make reasonable efforts to meet our estimated delivery timeframes.
However, circumstances outside our reasonable control may occasionally cause delays, including:
- Severe weather
- Traffic disruption
- Road closures
- Vehicle breakdowns
- Accidents
- Transport network disruption
- Government restrictions
- Unexpected logistical problems
- Other events beyond our reasonable control
Where a significant delay occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to inform customers and rearrange delivery as soon as practicable.
11. Delivery Preparation
To help ensure a smooth delivery, customers should prepare the site before the scheduled delivery date. This includes ensuring that:
- The delivery address is correct.
- The access route is clear.
- The unloading area is accessible.
- The ground is solid, stable and suitable.
- There is sufficient room for the delivery vehicle to manoeuvre.
- Overhead and side clearances are adequate.
- Vehicles, equipment and other obstructions have been removed.
- Any required permissions or access arrangements have been obtained.
Failure to prepare a suitable delivery site may result in delivery being delayed or unsuccessful.
